Information for ROTARY CLUBS
From a concept project by the Rotary Clubs of Tea Tree Gully, Modbury and Golden Grove in South Australia, the pilot project was officially launched on the 24th May 1999.
Since then many clubs have joined this great community program and more than 800,000 books have been printed and distributed throughout Australia and New Zealand.

When you handout the Emergency Medical Information Books, please make sure you tell the recepients that they need to fill out the details in the book with a family friend or doctor and then place it on the fridge.
It is also important to mark the book with male or female if your name is similar.
The EMIB is in a clear plastic sleeve and has 3 magnets on the back for placing on the fridge.

Shopping Centre Displays are an ideal way to distribute the Emergency Medical Information Books to the Community. These venues are also a perfect way to present to the public the efforts and programs run by your Rotary Club.
By using the 'Counter Boxes', many clubs ask for a gold coin donation which is then used to purchase more Books.
